Griffiths (large family who lived in the Old School House, Forge Lane) One of family brought his Billy Goat to School and tethered it on the grass outside Miss Proud's office window.- to keep the grass down I think ! (Derek Honour)

Hutchinson,John (Lived at Shop in Chester Rd). My sisters now tell me it was a JOHN RANDALL who lived at the shop on the Chester Rd. not John Hutchinson Sorry! The latter was at school but I have obviously got his home wrong. (Derek Honour)

Answer The "Hetherington" family at the farm. I new them well but their surname was"HERRINGTON", They had three children ..Bill, Donald and Vera..........Bill still lives down south, Vera lives in Lichfield but Donald died a few years ago.(Terry Ballinger)

Would you recall if the Toy's of Forge Lane were any relation to some of the other Toys in the Four Oaks Common, Blackberry Lane & Clarence Road areas? My father was Don Toy and his brother was Dick, both born in Blackberry Lane in the mid 1920's. (Dave Toy, Lichfield)
