WHY A LITTLE ASTON VILLAGE SITE?

The suggestion for this site came to me - Ron Duckett (who used to live in Little Aston Lane 1929 to 1954) after talking to a number of old village friends at a family funeral. For some, it was the first meeting in fifty/sixty years, so as you might guess there was plenty of reminiscing that jogged each others memories into go back even further. I  then experienced the same situation while attending the funeral of one of my old works bosses and at this it was suggested that our memories should be put in a book, but I realized it would take too long and cost too much. So here am I, trying to get two Web pages up and running.

This Little Aston one should be the least of my problems, when you remember that I was the dunce of the school (due to Dyslexia which was not  understood then) so there should be someone among you brighter pupils who is capable of doing a better job? In any case, whoever does the job will need your memories and photographs of that period. So far the material has only come from those on the alphabetical listed below, hope to see your name there and your initials under articles and photographs. As a protection, no ones individual details are shown or given out. (RSD)
